JAMES KWANG HO CHUNG

James Kwang Ho Chung has been a Unit Master at the Architectural Association School of Architecture since 2018. Alongside teaching on the BA Architecture at the AA, he is a visiting lecturer on MA Architecture at the Royal College of Art since 2017. His research focuses on understanding contemporary Korean typologies as spatial apparatus in a paradigmatic way. 

He has been realising many built projects, with strong working experience at Foster + Partners, Grimshaw Architects and Hopkins Architects, where he currently practices as an architectural designer. He has given lectures and taught in various workshops at a number of institutions including, the University of Melbourne, Korea National University of Arts, Leeds School of Architecture.
