Alessandro Dell'Endice

Alessandro Dell'Endice is a Senior Researcher at the Block Research Group (BRG), ETH Zurich. He holds degrees in structural engineering and architecture from the Politecnico di Bari (Italy) and specialized in digital fabrication at ETH Zurich, where he earned his PhD in 2022. Dr. Dell'Endice joined the BRG in 2016, and his research focuses on the structural assessment and design of unreinforced masonry structures using the Discrete Element Modelling method. During his PhD, he served as a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley. From 2021 to 2023, he contributed as a structural designer to the construction of the Striatus Bridge in Venice, Italy, and the Phoenix Bridge in Lyon, France.
