Jimmy Wei-Chun Cheng

Wei-Chun Cheng is an architectural designer, researcher, and educator. Wei-Chun received his M.Arch degree from Rhode Island School of Design in 2018, where he was awarded the AIA Norton Salk Scholarship for Design Excellence. He has previously practiced in Tokyo, Boston, and Taipei. In addition to his professional experience, Wei-Chun has been an adjunct faculty at the Boston Architectural College, an instructor at RISD, and taught a workshop at The University of Texas at Austin. His background in architectural design strongly informs his interests in 3D modeling platform design, digital simulation, and AI in architecture. He is currently studying and working as a research assistant at SCI-Arc MS. Architectural technologies.
