Catherine Ahn

Catherine Ahn is an architectural designer and researcher with over ten years of international work experience including at SITE, Obra Architects, and Andrew Franz Architect. She holds an MArch degree from Princeton University and a BArch degree from the Cooper Union. Catherine has been investigating new modes of community engagement through her project BQE!!as a fellow of the Institute for Public Architecture. She has also been researching construction waste and environmental justice as part of her Master’s thesis A Porous Poche, as well as the collective design pedagogies at the Women’s School of Planning and Architecture (1975-1981). Catherine has served as a teaching assistant at Princeton University and the Korea National University of Arts.
