Taeyoon Kim is an architectural designer at AECOM in London, UK. He specializes in computational design, machine learning in architecture and is responsible for ongoing research and development at AECOM. Current focus of work revolves around generative algorithms for master planning & architecture, and developing a cloud network platform for hosting web-based architectural 3d models with analytical data. He holds BArch degree from Hongik University, Seoul, and MArch from Architectural Association School of Architecture DRL.

He was an Autodesk Research Resident in Boston, where the research focused on 6 axis robotic arm fabrication, and machine learning. He was a research assistant at Hongik University focusing on publication of research papers in architecture.
